Real-time traffic situation information for movable bridges and important road sections

The HPA provides real-time information on the traffic situation from its sensor infrastructure on the publicly accessible Mobilithek.

The three movable bridges in the port open for shipping traffic as required. For this purpose, the bridge sections are closed to road traffic for 15 minutes in some cases. The bridge closure data provides information about the affected bridge (Rethe Bridge, Kattwyk Bridge, Reiherstieg Bridge) and the expected remaining closure time as a countdown 5-10 minutes before the closure.

Advantage for haulage companies: Better planning of routes in the port and routes into the port on the last mile, avoidance of standing in traffic jams
