Project Background
As part of the DigiTest funding scheme of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs (BMDV), the project partners Hamburg Port Authority A.ö.R. (HPA) and Datenkommunikationssystem AG (DAKOSY) have created a digital test field for the Port of Hamburg under the project name SANTANA. The digital services of the test field are presented and accessible via the Marketplace for partners and customers of the port.

HPA, representing the infrastructure in the Port of Hamburg, and DAKOSY, representing the logistics sector, have developed the Marketplace with support of the associated project partners Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg GmbH and the Hamburg Vessel Coordination Centre (HVCC).
The Marketplace contains digital services only. This means that data or status reports from logistics, transport and infrastructure can be accessed via interface/API/EDI/web service/web GUI. The digital services may provide data, such as berth or parking space utilisation, as well as services that offer added value, such as berth reservations.
