The Department on Management of Hydrologic Assets of the HPA operates and maintains a modern operational water level, current and wind measurement network in the area from German North Sea to the area Port of Hamburg. The hydrological and meteorological data is archived electronically by the HPA and made available to a wide range of users via an interface directly from the database system or via the website https://hydroonline.hpanet.de/ for a variety of purposes.
