Transparency and speed: when the carrier manifests arrive in the PCS, the goods have just been loaded at the port of departure. All parties involved and authorities are informed automatically. With the early notification, the freight forwarder comes into play and can control the further process up to collection from the port in an event-based and automated manner.
Import Management Platform IMP
The IMP of the port communication system DAKOSY acts as a single window to support the requirements of carriers, terminals, forwarders, transporters, importers and the authorities involved. It enables them to exchange information electronically and partially automatically, thus making import processing more effective and faster overall.
The IMP creates a data pool for each import process from the manifest and the order, which is reassembled for each process step (registration with authorities, transport processing, etc.). Current status information supplements the information base and improves the planning and scheduling options of those involved. Bottlenecks can also be identified early on - in the context of the goods - and largely defused.
