The effective interface for transporting goods and data
With transPORT rail, the Hamburg Port Authority has developed a new traffic management system for rail transportation in the Port of Hamburg, which offers an effective interface for freight and data transport. Users can access the system either via an interface or via the Internet (web client). Users are usually loading points and railroad undertakings (RUs), but the latter can also assign the input of their data to railroad operators or other service providers, provided they issue a corresponding authorization. The system offers the following functionalities, among others:
- Display train movements
- Pre-register wagon sequences
- Check track assignments
- Create transport orders
- Determine wagon destinations
- Disposition of cargo and/or wagons
- Track vehicle locations
- Transmission of dangerous goods data (GEGIS)
- Maintain master data
- Making user settings
To open and use the transPORT rail web client (TPR), you must have concluded a transPORT rail contract and received access and a security certificate for installation from product management.
Registration is quick and easy. The technical requirement is an x.509 certificate, which we provide free of charge. The use of transPORT rail info is subject to a fee according to the current list of fees and depends on the scope of the desired data module. We offer free trial access to get to know the system better.
