Freight forwarders and shippers can use the VGM portal to communicate all verified gross container weight data to the carriers in accordance with the SOLAS guidelines.

Customers can choose between the EDI platform and the web application. The EDI platform enables the integration of the EDIFACT messages VERMAS and IFTMIN (SI Shipping Instruction) into the in-house system.

The web application can be used to enter the weight details online and send them to the carrier/broker. The solution is also available as a “white label” and can therefore be offered as a service in the company's own design on its own website.
